We have heard for a while now that the upcoming 27 inch iMac Pro will be launched with a mini-LED display, and the new report adds more evidence that our expectations will be fulfilled.

Apple supplier seems to send this a limited number of iMac mini-LEDs to larger manufacturers for assembly, according to payment reports from digitimes. This report aligns with analyst predictions Ross Young, who says that Apple’s latest all-in-one desktop will be launched in the first half of 2022.

Naturally, Apple has not confirmed rumors about the new mini-LED display, so we won’t know for sure until the actual announcement of the company.

Analysis: Specifications reportedly so far

According to the latest report, the 27-inch iMac Pro will come with a 120Hz mini-LED display. The refresh rate will switch between the 24Hz and 120Hz range for more fluid efficiency and experience.

It is also likely to be equipped with a new M1 Pro and Max chip released for extra power boost, and get a 27-inch iMac Pro to the company’s own silicon.

The basic specifications for the 27-inch IMAC Pro are expected to display 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD, and must start from around $ 2,000 (around £ 1,460, AU $ 2,660).

Design-wise, the new 27-inch iMac Pro is expected to look like the current model, than a more colorful 24-inch sister. It will also display an HDMI port, plus SD card and USB-C connector, along with the dark bezel instead of the white bezel found in the 24-inch version.
