The Commonwealth Games took place on July 29 and the first day was a kind of mixed bag for the Indian contingent. The Indian badminton team got better than Pakistan when they registered a 5-0 victory because PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth showed their class. On the other hand, the Indian female cricket experienced disappointing results when they came short against Australia in Edgbaston. In boxing, Shiva Thapa easily won his son 32 of his son against Pakistan Suleman Baloch. The Indian female hockey team defeated Ghana very comprehensively while at Aquatics, Kushagra Rawat was eliminated in the 400m men’s freestyle after he was finished at Heat 3. 14 -year -old Squash player Anahat Singh, made the beginning of the victory at The Women’s Women’s Singles The Women’s Singles The Women’s Singles Competition The Indian Women’s Table Tennis Team also registered a 3-0 victory vs. South Africa.
